1. Fare boot da CD windows o se si riesce modalità provvisoria
2. Renaming system folders:
Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bak
Ren C:\Windows\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak
3. System Restore from an earlier point. Tried 3 different restore points, all of them failed.
4. Deleted the cleanup.xml and pending.xml files from the C:\Windows\Winsxs folder.
Fare
sfc /scannow
reboot
